when olivia arrived i said that i was not surprised because others had given me some information about her and i had a general idea of what to expect.  but today, i was very surprised.  i was surprised at her assertiveness and desire to jump right in and learn.  i was surprised by how quickly she picked up on things and how sharp and observant she was on her first official day of training at the office.

during her lunch break she sat in the lounge and talked to the other employees. (they have been wonderful to embrace her.)  she seemed to love the chance to talk and connect with others.

we had a busy day so she had very little down time but when she did have some quiet moments she worked in her recovery workbooks.

tomorrow evening she is taking a CPR training course.   whisper a prayer for her.  she seems a little anxious!

  3. Rene and Logan, you 2 are the greatest cousins on earth. I am so proud of Olivia, and it seems she is really building her self confidence up higher and higher each day. God bless you both and Ole also, Faith in Christ makes all things easier each day. Satan, I know is so defeated by this journey you took on with the help of God, but thats ok. With God, all things are possible!!
